Meet Aurora the white tiger! The Office of Campus Engagement commissioned illustrator Olenka Malarecka to create a white tiger to be our Wintersession mascot. So get ready to see Aurora’s image around town!

The OCE team named our tiger Aurora because it’s the Latin word for dawn, and Wintersession is the dawn of spring semester each year. Aurora’s name may also put you in the mindset of the wintry landscapes where one can see the aurora borealis, or northern lights.
